In Vivo Metric Ag-AgCl Electrodes: Electrode Accessories


1. Prepare skin by cleansing with a skin prep-pad (IVM E436).	2. Select appropriate size washer (adhesive disc). Align adhesive side over the center of the electrode and firmly press onto rim.	3. Fill electrode cavity (level) with a selected gel (IVM E412 or E426).	4. Hold washer's blue tab and remove paper cover. Apply assembled electrode/washer to the skin. Gently press electrode against the skin.

ATTACHMENT of WASHERS to OTHER MEDICAL DEVICES

In Vivo Metric washers (adhesive disks/collars) can be used with medical devices other than electrodes, like therapeutic magnets, stethoscopes, etc.

The devices and the skin should be clean and free of any oily residues. The skin can be cleaned with skin prep pads (E436).

The device should be cleaned by following the manufacturer's instructions. Select the appropriate washer size. Attach adhesive side to the device (on the side that makes skin contact). Hold washer's blue tab and remove paper cover. Apply assembled device/washer to the skin.
